Example of Retail

While managing the store the other night a customer asked if I could turn off the overhead music because it was annoying their group. There are 50+ customers in the store, we don't turn off the music for anybody, the company wants overhead music, so it is on. The customer was very upset. Although you may believe the world revolves around you and that "the customer is always right" that is not true. Get over it, "very upset"???? planes are flying into buildings, terrorists want us dead, we a fighting to allow a country to be free, there are other things to be upset about. It is a free country. Feel free to shop in my store or another store. My customer service philosphy is to do everything I can for the customer, there are some things I can do and some things I can't do. I can't manufacture a product because it is not here. I can do my best to find it, IF it exists and WILL.
